Easy but Powerful Authentication and Billing

The Guest with a laptop or notebook computer equipped with a wireless card is presented with a login screen as soon as he/she tries to access the net with a browser. They enter their data such as last name, room number, access plan and payment plan. The guest is authenticated against the database in the hotel's Property Management System and billing is done automatically to the Guest's folio. Once the guests are authenticated and billed, they will be able to access the Internet.

• The guest will be able to enjoy Internet access throughout the property, in rooms, Banquet Halls, Meeting Rooms, Business Centre and public areas such as lobbies and swimming pool.
• Public and Private IP addresses
• The guest's computer is provided a private IP by default. However, public IP address can be provided easily to guests needing them

Plug and Play

Transparent Connectivity Guests will generally have no need to change their IP settings, i.e. their IP address, or gateway or DNS settings. They could be set for "Obtain IP address automatically” or have a specific IP address. Even mis-configured settings will work in most cases.

The guest could have any browser based Proxy settings or no proxy settings. Generally, no change will be required in these settings.

VPN Support

Guests can access their Company networks using VPN. IPSEC and PPTP are supported

DHCP

Our system provides DHCP service, providing IP addresses to those guests who have configured their computer as a DHCP client.

SMTP Redirect

Travelers face a problem when sending mail, because their SMTP mail server are set not to relay mails. We provide automatic SMTP redirection so that the guest does not face this problem.

Flexible Client Devices

Guests with their own wireless cards need nothing more to use the services. For those who do not have such a card, wireless PCMCIA cards can be provided. Also, Wireless Ethernet Clients to which the guest can plug in the Ethernet port without needing to install any drivers.

Local Service Presentation

We provide a Home Page Redirect Function, which will redirect the user to a pre-determined Portal Page. In addition, the initial Login screen can contain useful links. Also pass through IP addresses/DNS entries can be programmed, creating a walled garden of web sites which the guest can browse for free even before authentication/payment.
